Company History
S.E. Consultants was founded in 1992 on the principle that quality structural engineering services can be delivered at a competitive price. From the start the firm offered its services in all 50 states of the United States as well as abroad. Over the years the company has designed countless structures in the USA and in countries such as Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Great Britain.
| 1991 | S.E. Consultants, Inc. is founded by Jeff Chapman and Gary Hancock. The firm establishes its location in a subleased space in an office building located at the intersection of Van Buren Ave and 44th Street in Phoenix, AZ. |
| 1995 | Richard "Nick" Keizer joins the firm. |
| 1997 | Nick becomes Vice President. Quinton Kubicek joins the firm. |
| 1998 | The firm grows to 5 employees and moves to its current office located at 5800 East Thomas Road in Scottsdale, AZ. |
| 1999 | Steven W. Schaub joins the firm. |
| 2002 | Gary Hancock leaves the firm. Nick Keizer becomes President and Jeffrey A. Chapman becomes CEO. Steven Schaub and Quinton Kubicek become Vice Presidents. |
| 2003 | Jeff Chapman passes away while vacationing in Mexico with his family on June 22, 2003. The 3 remaining principals buy out the firm and become the current owners. |
| 2006 | Over the years the firm grows to 18 employees and completes over 3,000 projects a year. |
